Identifying Characteristics and biology:

Large mouth with projecting chins. Backs are olive to brown to reddish-brown, with silvery red and pink on sides. Bocaccio may also be found with black blotches. Grows to 3 feet and around 15 lbs.

Range and Locations:

Can be found from Kodiak Island to Central Baja. .
